About Roofing & Gutters
Most roof problems start small: a lifted seam, a cracked pipe boot, a gutter that no longer drains. After the next storm they turn into ceiling stains and wet insulation. We find where the water is actually getting in and repair that, instead of only patching what you can see.
We work on the flat and low-slope roofs common on Brooklyn row houses, mixed-use buildings and commercial properties, and on the gutters and leaders that carry water away from the building.

+Questions
How do I know if I need a repair or a new roof?
It depends on the age and condition of the roofing and how widespread the damage is. We inspect the roof, show you what we find, and explain whether a targeted repair, a coating or a new membrane makes the most sense before you decide.
Can a leak be fixed in winter?
Emergency leak repairs can often be done in cold weather, but some materials need dry, mild conditions to bond properly. We tell you honestly what can be done now and what should wait.
Does roof work need a permit?
Some roofing jobs in New York City need a permit and others do not. We check what applies to your building and handle the filings the city requires.
